WHEN INFIDELITY STRIKES
Everything You Must Know About InfidelityInvestigation — But Are Afraid to Ask!
A self-help e-Book by Deborah Aylward
Often first responders to individuals questioning a loved one’s fidelity, it is to private investigators desperate people turn. Gaining fifteen years of insight directly from the public leaves this author with no doubt that finding a competent, reputable infidelity investigator is somewhat like wading through a pack of alligators. And unless you (or someone you trust implicitly) personally know an infidelity investigation specialist, it can be a real swamp out there! So many private investigators, so little time. How does one decide?

This is the book certain PI’s DO NOT want you to read!
With cheating and infidelity on the rise, it’s high time self-help information of this type is made available for public consumption. You will not find this information anywhere else on the Internet. Hard-hitting and exposing the reality of what service seekers can encounter while treading through the murky waters, if becoming a bit paranoid and overly cautious from reading WHEN INFIDELITY STRIKES I’ll consider my efforts a job well done. Protect your best interests by learning:
• The No. 1 Mistake callers make
• The No. 1 Goal of potential clients
• The No. 1 Reason you may be declined
TOP Consumer Advocate!
WHEN INFIDELITY STRIKES, is crammed full of self-help with short, advice topics regarding who, what, where and when of infidelity investigators and the services they provide. Better prepared for shopping in the swamp, readers will find over 100 pages of assistance with identifying investigative purpose and communicating needs to the professionals among us, all the while avoiding the open jaws of cold-blooded PI’s generating complaints.
“It’s like listening to a best friend.”
“Deborah doesn’t pull any punches while keeping my best interest at heart!”
Shopping for private investigators during the darkest moments of one’s life can be extremely challenging.
Consider these facts:
- Infidelity and cheating investigations are lucrative; and competition for clients is fierce.
- The majority of individuals calling PI agencies propose situations not qualifying for professionally conducted investigation.
- Capitalizing on these facts are certain PI’s lurking just beneath the surface of industry waters, readily snapping up unsuspecting prey.

Unfortunate dealings
As a high specialist in infidelity investigations providing advice consultations on the topic, a good part of my career is spent advising the public why proposed investigations are neither economical nor an efficient method of getting to the truth of infidelity. Listening to dissatisfied clients lament the need for seasoned investigators (now needed to clean up the mess less experienced investigators left behind), I’ve heard endless stories of close-encounters of the consumer kind. Those having unfortunate dealings with beady-eyed PI’s cite one or more of the following as top complaints:
- Didn’t produce any (or less than necessary) results
- Provided no written agreement
- Won’t answer phone calls
- Claims much more money is owed -- than agreed upon
- Did not provide a receipt for cash payment
- Has not contacted the client in months
- Will not provide a written report of findings; or statement detailing how funds were appropriated
- Will not produce video documentation proving work was indeed performed
- And so on…
Client responsibility
Obviously becoming educated prior to signing on the dotted line is every client’s responsibility. But where do people learn the ins-and-outs of contracting for private investigation services?
Advice articles
The Internet is chock full of brief articles pointing back to PI’s selling services, with so-called advice lacking in the ‘making sound financial and other decisions’ department. In many cases, articles are intelligence insulting marketing lures pandering to the infidelity-angry public. Other articles may be nothing more than SEO (search engine optimization) techniques for gaining better web presence, and promoted as expert advice.
